Have to agree with you on the $325k as well, that would have been quite a nice pile of money back in the day. He could have easily financed himself while writing and acting for a very long time. Your dream is great and one that I am sure you will be able to achieve!

Nice job jumping back into blogging with a splash. I loved the Stallone story. I do question his true intentions with selling his dog if he was outside a liquor store. In my experience, the people trying to get money there also want to be close to where they plan on spending it. If I was in his shoes I think I would’ve taken the $325K and used that to pursue acting and writing at the same time. He obviously worked out for him though.

I guess I don’t really have a concrete dream. One day I’d like to get married, buy a house and have kids, but that may be too much of a multi-stage dream to keep me focused. Dreams are something I should probably think more about though.

Thanks for reminder, Steve.

Sounds as if you are setting yourself up well. I agree about selling that site if you can find a buyer willing to pay what it’s worth. I have a few sites I am thinking of unloading as well, just to tidy things up and remain focused. No, I didn’t mention a new dream and I think that is part of the reason I’ve been drifting, nothing concrete to drive me to excel. So, as soon as I can solidify a good dream in my mind I should be off and running again. Ebooks are one of things I’ve thought about doing, but I honestly have no idea what topic to tackle.

I dream of the day we can leave Thailand… me, wife, baby, and mother-in-law. I need to write a few good books and get more residual income, and make sure it’s going to stick around for a while – then we’re outta here.

Thailand has been great for 8 years. It’s less than great with each passing day.

Anybody want to buy a Thai jewelry site netting $1,500 per month and established for 4 years?

That’s the start. Sell that site because though it only takes 4-5 hours per week to run it, it does pull my attention away from writing because it’s cash money coming in almost daily. I figure, sell everything that doesn’t relate to ebooks I’m writing – and focus 100% on ebooks.

Thailand is great for writing, we’ll probably stay another year after income ramps up.

So, that’s the plan Steve.

You didn’t say, what is the new dream your nursing now?
