The only way to really excel is to set the bar extremely high. I think I’ve accomplished that. Of course in the upcoming months I could end up with egg on my face too.

I’m also very impressed with your stats. Your blog is about the same age as mine, and as far as I know I don’t even have a moz ranking yet, so well done! As far as your baseline, I think you’re setting it now, and you’ll have some tough comparables going forward, that’s for sure.

That was part of the reason I did it, to give motivation to other bloggers when they see how fast you can get a site started. The other reason was more selfish. It gives me an archive of my monthly progress and it also forces me to do better next month since the stats are now public

I may take you up on your offer in a few years. Our only other options would be to move back to the States for 13 years while our daughter does her school thing or else put her in a private international school which would be a huge expense. It also limits where we can live as not all countries have suitable English language schools. If you can do it with 6 kids AND blog, then I can certainly handle just 1.
